Job Responsibilites:

Essential Duties:

  • Review customer’s technical requirements and prepare business proposals including cost and work flow schedules
  • Quotation development
  • Understand and effectively communicate technical requirements to internal and external customers
  • Project setup/management that requires integrated tasks of routing, tracking, initiating production systems and reporting.
  • Monitor project finances and profitability.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
  • Detail orientation in a high volume multi-tasking environment.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer with strong technical written and verbal communication and organizational skills. This is a key operations-focused role that will oversee day to day activities of project planning, scheduling and reporting.

This position will requires the employee to manage logistics, administration and reporting tasks on complex materials and mechanical testing programs.  It also requires a high degree of multi-tasking, scheduling management and communication skills.

The successful candidate should...

  • have a BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
  • excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • be responsible, accountable, team-oriented and a self-starter
  • be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Project
  • be experienced and comfortable with manual and automated data handling and presentation tools.
  • experience with database tools
